For the two highly anticipated Ultimo concerts, scheduled for Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium, Trenitalia has arranged for extraordinary metropolitan runs on Line 2. In collaboration with the Campania Region and the Municipality of Naples, Trenitalia, the leading company of the Polo Passeggeri of the FS Italiane Group, will offer an enhanced service to facilitate the outflow of spectators.
In fact, 23 additional journeys will be available, which will guarantee over 12 thousand additional seats compared to the normal service. The metropolitan trains will run until XNUMX am, allowing fans to Ultimo to easily return after the concerts. In particular, there will be 19 trips in the direction of Naples San Giovanni-Barra and 4 towards Pozzuoli, all departing and arriving at the Naples Campi Flegrei station.
To access the special trains, passengers must show a regular travel ticket to the railway staff. Safety and order will be guaranteed thanks to the collaboration with the Polfer, which will direct travellers to the platforms of the departing subways.
Given the expected large turnout, Trenitalia recommends purchasing tickets in advance to avoid long queues at the ticket counters. Metro tickets purchased via the App and self-service will also be valid for extraordinary journeys, regardless of the time selected. The Naples Campi Flegrei ticket office will exceptionally remain open until 1.30:22.30 am for the occasion, while, for reasons of safety and public order, the Piazza Leopardi stop will be closed starting at XNUMX:XNUMX.
