An Extraordinary Success

Last Wednesday, Marcianise transformed into a festive and participatory city. The 15th edition of the festival attracted an enthusiastic crowd for the concert by the talented Serena Brancale. With an exceptional voice and a polyrhythm that captivated the audience, the Bari-born artist delivered over an hour and a half of performances, paying homage to great musicians such as Lucio Dalla, Pino Daniele, and Tullio De Piscopo. The performance lived up to expectations, confirming the festival as one of the city's most popular events.

The Majeutica Organization

The Majeutica Association, which oversaw the organization, once again achieved its goal, choosing an artist at the height of her success. Thanks to the momentum of Serena Brancale's "Baccalà on Tour," which swept across Italy and even stopped in Marrakech, Morocco, the event in Marcianise was a resounding success. "The goal from the first edition was to fill a square," says artistic director Maestro Domenico Birnardo, "and I'd say we achieved that. We want to continue to grow this event thanks to the support of the public and our sponsors."

A Stage of Great Artists

Since its first edition in 2007, the artistic direction of Domenico Birnardo has brought to the stage of “Allegro, Marcianise in Jazz” artists of great caliber, including Stefano Di Battista, Nicky Nicolai, Nello Salza and Fabrizio Bosso. For this year's edition, which enjoyed the patronage of the Municipality of Marcianise and the Province of Caserta, the presentation was entrusted to the actor and engineer Raffaele Panariello and to Professor Antonella Golino.

A View That Astonishes

Despite it being a weekday in the summer, Marcianise responded en masse to the event. The view from above of the crowded square impressed Serena Brancale, who held the stage with impeccable mastery, offering a musical journey of great depth that received open-stage applause.

Looking at the future

With the closing of the XV edition, the Majeutica Association takes a short break before starting to think about the next one. Since 2000, the year of its foundation, Majeutica has never stopped surprising and will surely continue to do so in the years to come.
