A minor was the protagonist of a mishap during a coach trip, being forgotten in a service area on the A14
. Fortunately, the Highway Police of the Bologna Subsection intervened promptly, saving the boy and allowing him to reach his companions.
Last June 2nd, a group of students were returning from the Romagna Riviera to Switzerland when, during a refreshment stop at the Pioppa Est service area on the A14, the leader of the group made a fatal mistake.
. Mistakenly counting the boy among those on board the bus, he left him behind, without documents or a cell phone.
The discovery and the alarm
Only after reaching the Parma area did the driver notice the boy's absence. He immediately called for help from the Highway Operations Center, which dispatched a patrol from the Bologna Highway Police Subsection.
The timely intervention of the Police
The officers, arriving at the service area, located the young man and reassured him. They then contacted the family members and the chaperone of the group of young people to arrange their reunion.
Thanks to a relay made by the patrols of the Polstrada present on the motorway, the boy was able to reach his travel companions in complete safety.
