The second event of the "Beyond the Garden" series will take place on Sunday, June 30th, at 6:30 pm, in the Secret Garden of the historic Royal Palace of Portici.
This project, conceived by Mario Gelardi and realized in collaboration with the BLab association, is organized by Idee fuori scena and the Nuovo Teatro Sanità association, in synergy with the MUSA (Museums of the Royal Palace of Portici) and the Department of Agriculture. The event is also supported by ConTRA Group, sponsor of the event.
The Show: Monica. Odellalibertà
"Monica. Ode to Freedom," written and directed by Francesca Fedeli (2023 Hystrio Award for Vocation), is a tribute to the iconic actress Monica Vitti. Featuring Francesca Fedeli and Martina Carpino, the performance celebrates Vitti's career, talent, and extraordinary personality. Tickets are €15. A Tribute to Monica Vitti
Monica Vitti is one of the most emblematic female figures of Italian cinema, characterized by a histrionic, engaging, strong and rebellious personality. The show intends to recall some salient moments of her life and career, trying to give the public the image of a multifaceted artist and a woman outside the box. As a perfume or a memory evoke old sensations, so “Monica. Odellalibertà” tries to revive the essence of Vitti.
