The Public Prosecutor's Office of Benevento has issued a notice of conclusion of the investigations against the well-known criminal Maurizio Arena, of Montesarchio, in relation to the burning of the front door of the house of the Mayor of Montesarchio, Carmelo Sandomenico.
Arena has appointed as his trusted defense attorney the lawyer Vittorio Fucci. The investigations are supported by video footage showing Arena setting fire to the mayor's door. From the moment of notification of the conclusion of the investigations, Sand he will have 20 days, through his lawyer, to ask to be heard by the PM.
Arena's name is not new to the news: the well-known criminal is involved in a series of investigations that describe him as one of the drug kingpins of the Caudina area.
Among these, Operation British stands out, in which Maurizio Arena and his brother Gaetano, also known in the news for a murder, are accused of being the leaders of a group that flooded the Caudina Valley with drugs.
