Naples. Carabinieri from the Poggioreale Company responded this afternoon to Villa Betania Hospital following a report of a minor suffering from a knife wound.
The victim, a 14-year-old, had been taken to the hospital shortly before with injuries to his elbow, forearm, and back.
According to an initial reconstruction, yet to be verified, the boy was involved in a fight with some peers during a football match in the Conocal district of Ponticelli.

One or more of the attackers then allegedly stabbed him. The 14-year-old was released from the hospital with a 10-day prognosis. The Carabinieri are working to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the incident and identify those responsible.
An inspection at the Conocal Park of Ponticelli was made by the military in search of traces and witnesses
