Naples. Non-EU citizen stabbed during a brawl between fellow countrymen last night in the Vasto district.
He is a 30-year-old citizen of Algerian origin, already known to the police and also illegally residing on the national territory.
The man suffered stab wounds to his left shoulder, chin and neck. Doctors at the Vecchio Pellegrini hospital, where he was taken, treated his wounds and admitted him, judging him to be curable in ten days.
The Carabinieri of the Borgoloreto station and of the Naples mobile radio unit, alerted by 112, after the routine report by the emergency room doctors, first heard the injured man and then went to Via Milano to inspect the scene.
All the participants in the brawl had already fled: now the carabinieri are examining the images from public and private cameras in the area to verify the possibility of reconstructing how many people took part in the brawl and identify them.
