A 27-year-old man was arrested by the State Police for illegal possession of narcotics. The operation, which resulted in him being arrested, took place yesterday afternoon during a patrol conducted by officers from the Vasto-Arenaccia Police Station.
While they were passing by on the street MilanThe police officers noticed a man who, upon seeing them, threw some suspicious packages to the ground in an attempt to quickly escape the search. The officers promptly intervened, arresting the man and recovering the packages.
The man, a 27-year-old Gambian with a criminal record, was found in possession of €95 in banknotes of various denominations. The recovered packages contained nine bars of hashish weighing approximately 24 grams, a small bag of cocaine, and 23 doses of heroin totaling approximately 5 grams. The young man was arrested for illegal possession of narcotics and taken to the police station for further investigation.
