Naples, minors on mini-motorcycles speed without helmets among passers-by and tourists at the Tribunali.
Residents of Via Tribunali sent a video to Alleanza Verdi Sinistra MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, which documents a new and dangerous trend in the historic center: mini-motorbike speed races through the alleys, with young drivers whizzing past passers-by and tourists without wearing helmets.
The images show very young children proceeding at full speed, completely ignoring safety regulations. and the damage they can cause to their own safety and that of others.
And in fact they write: “It is absurd that these kids can run around the streets of a historic center slaloming between the tourists, as if nothing had happened. We are resigned to remaining in total anarchy and incivility."
“A worrying phenomenon, that of children racing on mini-bikes in the historic center,” commented Borrelli, “but what is disconcerting is the total lack of controls by the police and also by the parents who leave them for hours on end in the street risking their lives.
An unacceptable situation that seriously endangers the safety of pedestrians and even of the baby runners, and which must be addressed with the utmost firmness before a tragedy occurs. The vehicles must be seized and the parents must be sanctioned as they deserve: they cannot think of passing their educational failures onto the community”.
