Naples. The agents of the Fuorigrotta Highway Police Subsection reported a 63-year-old Neapolitan for using a false document and driving without insurance.
The man was stopped while driving a car on the Naples ring road.
During a routine check, officers noticed some anomalies on the driver's license presented by the driver. The license had several graphic features that did not correspond to the authentic ones and printing imperfections.
Further investigations revealed that the license was not only counterfeit, but that the man had already had his driving license revoked last year.
The 63-year-old was reported to the Judicial Authority for use of a false document. The counterfeit license was seized. The man was also fined for driving without a license and lack of insurance coverage for a total of 5.966 euros. Finally, the vehicle was subjected to administrative seizure.
