Naples. Roberto Murano, known as Palli Palli, the boss of the Mercato district of Naples, remains in prison. He was released from prison a few months ago after 15 years, and is linked to the Contini clan, specifically to boss Nicola Rullo, the "O'Nfamone." He and his nephew Davide Buonocore remain in prison for threatening Buonocore's ex-girlfriend after she decided to end their relationship.
The two ended up in prison two days ago thanks to the courageous denunciation of the girl. Under house arrest instead are Anna Murano, daughter of the ras, his wife Stefania Palumbo and the sisters Carmela and Annamaria Palumbo.
For years the girl from Naples lived a nightmare: her ex-boyfriend, with the complicity of his family linked to the Contini clan, had persecuted with stalking, threats and violence.
The beginning of the nightmare
It all started when the girl, then 13, began a relationship with the young man. After the relationship ended, he refused to accept her decision and harassed her in every way: constant phone calls, threatening messages, stalking her outside her house, even forced video calls when he was in prison for a "shooting."
The harassment and threats
The harassment wasn't limited to the boy. His family, particularly his uncle, who was linked to the Contini clan, threatened and intimidated the girl and her family, forcing them to live in fear. The uncle, Roberto Murano, known as "Palli Palli," didn't hesitate to threaten the girl's brother with death if she continued to call the police.
The intervention of the police and the arrest
Only thanks to the police's intervention and the complaint filed by the victim's brother was the nightmare finally over. All suspects are charged with aggravated stalking using mafia methods. According to the judge, the young man acted in typical "Camorra fashion," taking advantage of his and his family's criminal power to terrorize the girl and her family. The height of the intimidation was reached with a scooter rampage in front of the girl's home, which occurred on the night of May 7th.
The defense of those arrested
The two arrested yesterday were questioned by the investigating judge during the preliminary hearing. They denied the charges and, among other things, as reported by Il Roma, Buonocore stated that he had not had any contact with the victim for about two years.
