But she, without being afraid and even knowing who she was dealing with, went to the police station and reported everyone: including her ex-boyfriend who, among other things, despite being under house arrest for another crime, had gone to her house with her aunt to threaten her.
The girl said she had repeatedly suffered threats, harassment and aggression from the suspects.
The accusations
According to the prosecution, the suspects, who were closely related, would have acted with the aim of forcing the woman to maintain a romantic relationship with Davide Buonocore, one of those arrested. The young woman, initially a minor, had been induced to begin the relationship with Buonocore and, following her decision to end the relationship, would have been subjected to continuous pressure and threats.
Buonocore's Threats
In particular, Buonocore, despite being under house arrest for another incident, allegedly went to his girlfriend's house and threatened her with death: "If you go out, you're dead."
The conduct of the defendants was considered aggravated by the mafia method, in consideration of the methods of execution and the proximity of some of them to the Contini clan.
The arrested
The following were arrested: Roberto Murano, historic boss of the Mercato area and right-hand man of the boss Nicola Rullo, a leading member of the Contini clan, his wife Stefania Palumbo and daughter Anna Murano, Murano's nephew Davide Buonocore, and Stefania's sisters, Carmela and Annamaria Palumbo. The four women, with no criminal record, were granted house arrest by the investigating judge. Pretrial detention in prison instead for the uncle and nephew, already known to the police.
