Naples. Another night of alcoholic excess in the historic center of Naples, with a minor as the protagonist who ended up in an alcoholic coma. The 118 staff had to intervene in via Enrico De Marinis, in the heart of the nightlife, to help the girl.
A citizen sent MP Francesco Borrelli a video showing the girl collapsed on the ground, while two friends tried to cool her down with a fan. In front of them, the 118 ambulance that had just arrived on the scene.
The citizen who filmed the video also told of another girl, presumably a minor, who had a hysterical crisis caused by the fumes of thealcohol.
"Once again we see completely drunk minors in the historic center of Naples.", reports Borrelli. "It's unacceptable that establishments continue to serve alcohol to minors, putting their health at risk. I demand severe penalties for those who serve alcohol to minors. We can no longer allow our young people to be poisoned in this way."
Caliendo: "Institutions must know the territory."
Fabrizio Caliendo, historic owner of "Kestè" and active in the area, commented: "All institutions must know the local area! That's their job. And they must know who's operating in a healthy way and who's poisoning the city, creating disruption, and killing young people. We need to invest resources in the nightlife sector."
Last night's incident is just the latest in a series of similar cases reported in the Naples news and which regularly occur in the historic center. Decisive action by the authorities is needed to combat this phenomenon and protect the health of minors.
