Naples. A preventive detention order, issued by the preliminary investigations judge of the Naples Court at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, was executed by the State Police against two men, a father and son, accused of aggravated robbery against a jewelry salesman.
On April 11, in Naples, DPL, 65, and DPA, 47, riding a scooter, approached the representative's car stopped at the traffic light on Via Marchese Campodisola.
DPA, after breaking the car window, pointed a gun at the representative and stole his backpack, which contained emeralds and diamonds worth approximately €450, as well as approximately €10 in cash.
The two robbers then fled in the wrong direction on Via Cristoforo Colombo. The entire rapina it only lasted a few seconds.

The investigations of the flying squad
The investigation, conducted by the Naples Flying Squad and coordinated by the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office, led to the identification of the two perpetrators thanks to the analysis of footage from public and private surveillance cameras, telephone records and mobile phone traffic, as well as wiretapping.
Searches and seizures
Personal and property searches were also carried out on DPL and DPA, as well as on five other men suspected of facilitating the concealment of the stolen goods. Cash, valuables believed to be the proceeds of crime, and a fake ID were found and seized.
DPL and DPA are now in prison awaiting trial. The State Police operation brought those responsible for a serious crime to justice and recovered part of the stolen goods.
