The maritime control services ordered by the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, within the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety, continue through the Naples Port Authority and the police forces, in particular the Guardia di Finanza (Financial Police) and the Naples Metropolitan Police.

A few hours ago, a joint operation by the Coast Guard and the Metropolitan Police rescued four yachtsmen aboard a vessel that had died near the Gaiola and Trentaremi bays.

During patrol operations in Gaiola Bay in Marechiaro and Trentaremi Bay near Nisida, patrol boats spotted a vessel in distress and sinking.

The pilot boat was located in a small inlet opposite the area closed to the passage of boats, and was gradually sinking.

Thanks to the timely intervention of the Metropolitan Police dinghy, the four boaters aboard the disabled pilot boat were rescued. The Coast Guard immediately picked up the four people and escorted them to the port, where they were taken to the hospital for routine checks.

The rescue operation represents an effective example of coordination between the various forces involved, demonstrating the importance of maritime control services in ensuring safety in the area. Constant monitoring of marine areas and prompt intervention are essential to prevent and respond to emergencies like the one that occurred a few hours ago.

Yesterday the 4 people were saved thanks to the timely intervention of my dinghy and two other boats.

It was not at all thanks to the intervention of 1530. If we had had to wait for the coast guard, alas, 4 people would have been crying!

Not because of their negligence, absolutely, but because they were busy with 4 other accidents at sea! Instead of filling the chest with false pride on the part of those who ARE NOT MANAGING the sea, you should write that only 1 lifeboat is available for an area that boasts 50 thousand square meters and thousands of boats in transit, and that it could never save people from similar accidents by itself.
