Stricter measures: the ban, in force from 12 June to 15 September 2024, applies from 12pm to 16pm, with an extension compared to the past which was set at 35 degrees.
The threshold drops to 30 degrees, in line with the forecasts of the daily bulletin issued by the regional Civil Protection for the urban area of Naples, when the risk levels are 2 or 3.
The ban in force until September 15th
Scientific data at the base: the ordinance draws inspiration from a study conducted by Plinivs, a research centre of the Urban Planning and Territorial Planning Laboratory of the Federico II University of Naples, which analysed climate change in cities and the risks associated with heat waves.
Collaboration with ASL Napoli 1: the initiative was also carried out with the contribution of the Urban Hygiene Operational Unit Veterinary of the ASL Napoli 1.
Penalties for violators: anyone who does not respect the ban risks an administrative fine ranging from 25 to 500 euros.
