The traditional Sagra di San Giovanni returns to Ottaviano this year, an event that combines faith, folk music, and traditional local products. The event will be held on Friday the 21st and Saturday the 22nd in the ancient and charming San Giovanni neighborhood, one of the most characteristic areas of the Vesuvian town. The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Ottaviano and is designed to engage participants of all ages.
Event for New Talents and Folk Music
The first day of the festival will be dedicated to new musical talent, with a show by Saverio Miranda's Accademia Music Family. This space will offer the opportunity to discover and appreciate emerging young artists.
The second evening will be all about Neapolitan melody. Various folk music groups will take turns on stage to delight the audience with traditional sounds. There will also be performances by renowned artists such as Carmine Coppola and Antonio Centro. Both evenings will be hosted by Gino Aprile, known for his ability to entertain and engage audiences.
