Naples. Giuseppe Annunziata and Gaetano Bocchino, respectively metropolitan secretary and head of local authorities of the Democratic Party of Naples, expressed "great satisfaction for the results achieved by the PD in this round of administrative elections in the province of Naples".
"On the eve of the vote, it was not governing in six municipalities with over 15.000 inhabitants where our list was present. Now instead - they observe - we lead the municipalities of Bacoli, Casoria and Castellammare di Stabia together with the center-left and in the other three municipalities we are present in the run-off".
“The Democratic Party is the leading party in the coalition Castellammare, Sant'Antimo, Torre Annunziata where the local club has launched a major renewal operation, without forgetting San Giuseppe Vesuviano where the PD has not even been present at the elections for a long time", added the two representatives of the provincial secretariat.
“In the municipalities where the composition of the municipal councils has already been defined, the Democratic Party is increasing the numbers of its representation: in Bacoli we are going from one to two councilors, in Casoria from one to four, in Castellammare from one to four – Annunziata and Bocchino analyzed -.
Even in the municipalities with less than 15.000 people there are some significant results to report, such as that of the municipality of Striano, where the PD, finally united with the other progressive forces, was decisive in the victory of Giulio Gerli who defeated Antonio Del Giudice, provincial representative of Fdi”.
“We are faced with extraordinary results for which we must extend heartfelt thanks to all the Democratic candidates and many local administrators who represent the true treasure of our party,” concluded Annunziata and Bocchino.
