Two people were arrested in flagrante delicto for possession of child pornography, as part of a Postal Police operation coordinated by the Bari Prosecutor's Office.
A 27-year-old from the province of Frosinone and a 46-year-old from the province of Sassari were found in possession of a large quantity of images and videos depicting sexual abuse of minors.
The operation led to the execution of 13 searches of as many suspects in various Italian provinces: Barletta-Andria-Trani, Caserta, Como, Cuneo, Frosinone, Palermo, Reggio Emilia, Rome, Sassari and Viterbo.

The investigations started from the analysis of online transactions that took place in closed groups of a well-known messaging platform, where contents of child pornography.
During the searches, numerous computer devices containing tens of thousands of child pornography files were seized. The devices will be subjected to forensic analysis to extract further elements useful for the investigation.
