The Finance Police of the Treviso Provincial Command have concluded an operation that led to the reporting of 25 people for ideological falsity committed by a private individual in a public document.
The investigation, a development of the previous "101 e lode" operation in 2021 (which had already uncovered 101 fake diplomas with top marks), concerned the service qualifications presented by candidates for the ATA (Administrative, Technical, Auxiliary) competition announced by the MIUR in 2017.
The investigations, conducted in collaboration with the Public Prosecutor's Office of Nocera Inferiore, exposed two schools in Campania as veritable "diploma mills," run by "fixers" and devoid of any real teaching activity.
By cross-referencing the data emerging from the two investigations, the Treviso Finance Police identified 25 candidates who had falsely declared having worked in these "diploma mills", obtaining scores useful for climbing the rankings to the detriment of those who owned real securities.

The investigation by the Treviso Financial Police
Thanks to this stratagem, between 2018 and 2020, the 25 suspects had managed to obtain positions as school collaborators in various Treviso institutes.
These individuals, who have already been fired by school principals, are now being prosecuted for forgery, punishable by up to two years of imprisonment.
The operation, conducted under a memorandum of understanding between the Guardia di Finanza and the Ministry of Education and Merit to combat "diploma mills," confirms the Guardia di Finanza's commitment to protecting the proper functioning of the public administration, particularly in the sensitive education sector.
