The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office has opened a fact-finding file, known as 'model 45', with no criminal hypothesis or suspects, following the transmission of the documents by the magistrates of the Capital. This file concerns a section of the investigation into the capital gains case involving the former top management of the sports club AS Roma.
In recent days, “Il Fatto Quotidiano” has revealed the details of the excerpt, transmitted for territorial jurisdiction, which focuses on alleged false corporate communications relating to the 2018 market operations between Inter and Rome. In particular, attention is focused on the transfers of the players Radja Nainggolan, Davide Santon and Nicolò Zaniolo.
The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office had already investigated Inter's capital gains, filing the charges since no conduct aimed at altering the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 financial statements had been detected. The new file was assigned to the public prosecutor Giovanni Polizzi. At the same time, prosecutors Pasquale Addesso and Roberta Amadeo have been assigned to investigate another fact-finding file that arose from a complaint by the "Identità Bianconera" foundation.
The foundation, after having turned to the sports justice and Covisoc, recently decided to turn to the ordinary justice system. The accusation made by the foundation's lawyers is that Inter did not have the necessary requirements to register for the last championship, in particular lacking the guarantees to support "business continuity".
