Pomigliano d'Arco. A real "car cemetery" was discovered this morning by the Municipal Police officers of Pomigliano d'Arco in an area of via Portella, near the provincial road Pomigliano-Acerra.
Inside, the municipal police, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Emiliano Nacar, found numerous carcasses of stolen and dismantled cars, ready to be recycled.
The intervention took place following a report and led to the seizure of the entire area. The municipal police, who were able to count on the arrival of new agents and officers in the command, found inside the site car parts of different makes and models, all from thefts that occurred in the area.
The charges are waste disposal, receiving stolen goods and money laundering. According to initial investigations, the “car cemetery” was used by criminals to store stolen and dismantled vehicle parts, ready to be resold on the illegal market.
