Carabinieri officers from the Castello di Cisterna mobile radio unit arrested Francesco Coppola, a 46-year-old local man already known to law enforcement, on drug dealing charges. He was spotted riding an electric scooter along Via Passariello, attracting the attention of the officers, who decided to stop him for a check.
The personal search led to the discovery of 6 doses of hashish and 15 grams of cocaine.

During the check, a switchblade and a sum of 15.394 euros in cash, divided into small denomination banknotes, considered to be the proceeds of the illegal activity, were also seized. Coppola was immediately transferred to prison, where he will remain awaiting trial.
