Pompeii. An explosive device exploded during the night in via Lepanto in Pompeii. The bomb had been placed in front of a private office attributable to a politician from Pompeii.
Local authorities, including firefighters and Carabinieri from the Torre Annunziata investigative unit, responded immediately to the scene and are actively seeking information to reconstruct the incident. The Prosecutor's Office has opened an official investigation.
The police have already acquired the images from the cameras of video surveillance of some commercial and private activities in the area. Videos could contain useful information to identify the authors of the raid.
