Naples. The Carabinieri of the Ponticelli Station, during a territorial control service, arrested a 26-year-old local man and reported a woman for resisting a public official.
The soldiers, noticing a car with two people on board that was proceeding at high speed, ordered them to stop. The driver, instead of pulling over, accelerated, starting a chase that continued for several hundred meters.
The car was finally stopped in via Carlo Miranda. The Carabinieri proceeded to search the vehicle, finding 57 blocks of hashish, for a total weight of about 3 kilos. In addition, a baseball bat was also found.
In light of what was ascertained, the 26-year-old, Luca Risimini, was arrested and taken to prison awaiting trial, on charges of possession with intent to sell narcotics and carrying objects capable of causing offence.
The woman who was with him in the car, a 26-year-old from Anzio, was instead reported for resisting a public official.
