Yesterday evening, officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid, during a territorial patrol, arrested a young drug dealer in Piazza San Francesco di Paola. The officers observed a man who, in exchange for money, gave something to a person who then quickly fled.
The officers responded quickly and apprehended the suspect, finding him in possession of 11 packages of cocaine and 30 euros, divided into various denominations of banknotes, the clear proceeds of the crime. The young man, a 20-year-old of Tunisian origin with a criminal record, was arrested for illegal possession and distribution of narcotics.
