Napoli.Yesterday afternoon, the officers of the Decumani Police Station, during a territorial control operation, arrested a 38-year-old Neapolitan with a police record for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.

The man was noticed while he was fiddling with a strange tool looking out the window of a building. The police officers, suspicious, approached and observed that the man, through an opening in the window grate, was using a stick similar to a coat hanger to retrieve a shopping bag from a cavity in a nearby abandoned building.
After taking something from the bag, the man quickly drove away on a scooter. The officers followed him and, in Via San Paolo, they saw him give something to another person in exchange for money.
At the time of swap, the 38-year-old was stopped and found in possession of two cell phones, 370 euros in banknotes of various denominations and a switchblade.
750 grams of marijuana recovered
At the place where the man had recovered the bag, the coat hanger used for the operation was found and, inside the bag, approximately 750 grams of marijuana and packaging material.
The man, already known to the police for specific crimes, was arrested and taken to prison.
The drugs recovered thanks to the ingenuity of the agents and the investigative intuition of the Decumani Police Station represent a hard blow to drug trafficking in the area.
