Napoli. A 39-year-old man was arrested in the Spanish Quarter by the State Police for evading house arrest and aggravated trespassing.
The man, already under precautionary measures for drug-related crimes, had been the protagonist of several threats and attacks against a couple of neighbors.
According to the reconstruction by the agents of the Montecalvario Police Station, the man accused the couple of having defaced his car. For this reason, he first damaged their car with a compressed air gun and then broke into their apartment, threatening them with the same weapon.
Police intervention
Alerted by the couple, the officers intervened on the spot and found the car damaged and some gun pellets compressed air. The investigation revealed that the man had escaped from house arrest.
Tracked down in his home, the man was arrested. During the search, the police found the air pistol, ammunition, a katana and a video surveillance system.
The man will have to answer for escape, aggravated violation of domicile and aggravated threat.
