Naples. Last night, during a territorial control service, agents from the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid arrested a 43-year-old Neapolitan for attempted aggravated theft and resisting a public official.

The man was caught red-handed while attempting to steal a car on Via Carbonara.

While driving along Via Carbonara, officers noticed a man tinkering with a parked car. The car showed obvious signs of forced entry, with the door partially torn off.

At the sight of the operators of police, the man attempted to get rid of a screwdriver and flee, pushing one of the police officers in an attempt to evade arrest.

Despite his attempts to escape, the man was quickly caught and arrested by the officers.

It was later discovered that the 43-year-old has a criminal record, including specific crimes. As a result, he was arrested and charged with attempted aggravated theft and resisting a public official.
