On Saturday 8 June at 10 am in the garden of the Teatro dei Piccoli in Naples, the twenty-second edition of the ABIO Napoli Award, “Do you believe that we are all artists?” will take place.
An exciting event organized by the ABIO Napoli Association which for 24 years has been committed to making pediatric wards more child-friendly, through playing, listening and setting up welcoming and colorful wards in order to make the stay in the hospital less traumatic. hospital for children and their families.

Every year the volunteers of ABIO Napoli collect hundreds of works of art born from the imagination of the children they meet in the wards who, with pencils and colours, give voice to the emotions felt during their hospital stay.

The ABIO Award represents a precious opportunity to re-embrace, far from the hospital context and in a festive atmosphere, all the children met in the pediatric wards and to reward their creativity and courage with a medal.

Salvatore Calise, a great friend and supporter of ABIO, will lead the show with the extraordinary participation of well-known characters who will be revealed only during the show and who, with their presence, have decided to support ABIO Napoli to give a surprising party to all the children who will participate .

During the ceremony, the “Naples for Childhood” awards will be presented to two organizations that have particularly distinguished themselves for their commitment to children and adolescents:
• Italian Red Cross – Naples Committee: for the great social commitment and for the rescue operations in support of children from Gaza and migrants rescued by the Emergency Life Support ship.
• Mille Colori Scampia Association: for support activities for children and families in the Scampia neighborhood.
