A 17-year-old boy was arrested in Salerno for possession with intent to sell drugs.
Yesterday morning, the Carabinieri of the Salerno Company's Operational and Mobile Unit executed an order against him, implementing the precautionary measure of community placement, issued by the investigating judge of the Juvenile Court of Salerno at the request of the competent Public Prosecutor's Office.
During checks carried out by the Carabinieri, as part of the prevention of drug dealing and consumption by very young people, the 17-year-old was found in possession of hashish.
The young man was caught while selling some doses of hashish to a buyer. The prompt action of law enforcement led to the boy's immediate arrest.
Following the arrest, the investigating judge of the Juvenile Court of Salerno, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, ordered the precautionary measure of placement in a community for the youth. The 17-year-old was then transferred to a community facility, where he will be followed for rehabilitation.
