A 19-year-old from San Tammaro was arrested for stalking in Santa Maria Capua Vetere after making death threats to his ex-partner.
The man went to the home of the woman with whom he had been in a relationship from January 2021 to October 2023. Out of jealousy and anger over his ex's alleged new relationship, he began railing against her and her mother, who was at home when the incident occurred.
The situation escalated when, at the sight of the Carabinieri who had intervened following a report from the victim, the 19-year-old grabbed the woman in the face and verbally threatened to shoot her and place a bomb under her house.
Despite attempts to calm him down by his parents, who arrived on the scene alerted by their daughter, the young man continued to assume an aggressive attitude.
Arrested, he was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
