We are at war! The Western media apparatus has gone to war. Compact. Determined. Proud. Proud of its cowardice. Conceited in the splendor of its overflowing herd instinct fully deployed. What should be the critical conscience of democratic society is transformed as if by magic into its opposite: the uncritical unconsciousness in the service of capital war.

The tongue beats where the master wants and so "cognitive capitalism" shows its true face made of servile idiocy, paranoid dementia and disturbed warmongering autoeroticism. And it doesn't matter that the vast majority of public opinion is against the war adventure; our man averages below average for once and doesn't even care about the ratings. We must please the Atlantic clients and indulge that inNATO instinct that many 'professionals in the use of language' demonstrate they have. They are the War Idiots of the war spectacle, executioners and victims of a system that seizes and swallows up common sense to spit it out in a blaze of turpitude and death. I am, you are my enemy.

The Return of the Bisca

Never so hard, direct, explicit. After their return with the song “Io sono palestinese”, which marked their new collaboration with Phonotype Records, Bisca unleash a new single that shows their most sarcastic and corrosive side. “Scemi di guerra” is a ferocious indictment of the war and communication apparatus, politics and information, naming government figures, journalists, opinion leaders without exception, without sparing anyone.

Four Years of Waiting

Four years after “Stato di grazia”, the 12th album of the historic Neapolitan band, with a new quartet formation Bisca relaunch their original and overwhelming no wave mix of funk, jazz and punk. Together with the two historic members Sergio 'Serio' Maglietta (vocals and sax) and Elio '100gr.' Manzo (guitars) there are also Claudio Marino (Clark Kent) on drums and Dub Marta on bass.

The Support of Phonotype Records

“Scemi di guerra” is also the new single released by Phonotype Records, which has restarted its activity by supporting two militant groups such as Bisca and Train To Roots. From autumn the work of the oldest Italian record company (founded in Naples in 1901 with the name Società Fonografica Italiana and with the current name in 1911) will become more intense and surprising, with new releases and recovery of the old catalog.

The Relaunch of the Historic Record Company

A key record label in the development of 20th-century Italian musical culture, Phonotype has relaunched its operations with the goal of releasing new music but also reviving older titles from an extraordinary catalog, at risk of being forgotten. As the new partners state, "The relaunch of Phonotype is a gamble on Naples and on what this city represents today in a slow and dissonant Europe. The label is building on a unique cultural heritage, an immense catalog, over 100 years of music, some of which remains to be discovered, without losing touch with reality. Meanwhile, Naples continues to evolve and be at the forefront. And here we are, already in the future."
