An off-duty officer from the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid arrested a 46-year-old yesterday afternoon Neapolitan with precedents of police for illicit possession and sale of narcotic substances.
The man was spotted on via Fabrizio Padula while he was taking something from the back of a telephone booth and giving it to another person in exchange for money. The buyer then quickly walked away.
Sensing that it was a drug dealing activity, the officer immediately contacted the Operations Room to request the support of a patrol. The officers of the General Prevention Office, who intervened on the spot, identified and stopped the 46-year-old, finding him in possession of 90 euros in banknotes of various denominations.
Behind the telephone booth, an envelope containing 24 packages of cocaine for a total weight of approximately 47 grams.
For these reasons, the 46-year-old was arrested and locked up in the security cells awaiting the validation judgment.
