Shots fired in San Cipriano d'Aversa where bosses' relatives live
San Cipriano d'Aversa. Carabinieri from the Casal di Principe Company responded this morning to San Cipriano d'Aversa, on Via Ovidio, after several residents reported gunshots fired during the night.
Upon arriving on the scene, the officers found several 7,65 caliber shell casings and confirmed that the bullets had also grazed the door of a house.
According to witnesses, the shooting occurred during the night. Investigations are ongoing and there may be a connection with previous events
The incident occurred in a street where the relatives of a prominent figure of the clan of the Casalesi, currently detained.
For this reason, investigators are verifying a possible connection with the events that occurred in Casal di Principe on Friday evening, when shots were fired in Piazza Mercato, near the Town Hall, and in Via Bologna at the homes of Emanuele Libero and Ivanhoe Schiavone, sons of former Casalesi boss Francesco "Sandokan" Schiavone, who has been a collaborator with justice for several months.
Hypothesis of a message to the former boss's children
The leading hypothesis is that the shooting was a message of intimidation to the former boss's children from criminal groups ready to take over the control of illegal activities from the old families.

This scenario could also be supported by the fact that the incidents in Casal di Principe and San Cipriano occurred precisely during the municipal elections in Casal di Principe, where the coalition that had supported the administration of Mayor Renato Natale, a symbol of the fight against the Camorra, for ten years was defeated.
Concern over rising crime
The incident has raised considerable concern among law enforcement and the judiciary, who fear a resurgence of organized crime in the areas of Casal di Principe and San Cipriano d'Aversa, already known in the past for the presence of the Camorra and which in recent years have begun a process of redemption.
The investigations continue
The Carabinieri are conducting a rigorous investigation to identify those responsible for the shooting and to clarify the motive. They are acquiring images from surveillance cameras in the area and are questioning residents.
The goal is to avoid the risk of a return to the past and to ensure the safety of citizens.
