Stefano Tacconi, former Juventus and Italian national team goalkeeper, spent a peaceful night after surgery yesterday at the Molinette hospital in Turin. Tacconi had undergone surgery to treat arterial ischemia in his right lower limb. The Molinette hospital released a statement updating the patient's condition: “The post-operative course continues regularly. The patient shows stable clinical conditions and a rapid improvement in the perfusion and circulation of the right lower limb operated yesterday afternoon”.
The surgery, performed by a team of experts in vascular surgery, was successfully completed. In the first hours after the operation, heels was carefully monitored in the intensive care unit to ensure an optimal response to the surgery. The former goalkeeper recently left the intensive care unit and was transferred to the Vascular Surgery ward.
Tacconi's stable condition and improvement are encouraging signs, but doctors are maintaining a cautious approach. The next period will be crucial to ensure that the circulation of the right lower limb is fully stabilized and to prevent any complications.
