In the splendid setting of the Borbonico del Fusaro Park, the mysterious and fascinating world of female emotions comes to life at the Casina Vanvitelliana with three unique and engaging shows, curated by “La Chiave di Artemysia”, within the “Notti Vanvitelliane” Festival, sponsored by the Municipality of Bacoli and the Centro Ittico Campano.
The Night of Fairies and Candles
First appointment on July 6th with “The night of fairies and candles” where magic and mystery blend together in an exciting show. A journey into an enchanted world inhabited by fairies that awakens the deepest senses and will lead the spectator into a universe of lightness and grace. The fairies will perform with aerial dances to the melodies of the violin and live singing, transforming reality into pure magic and giving the audience an intense and unforgettable experience. The warm glow of tea lights and candles will envelop the spectators in an aura of mystery and enchantment, creating a fairytale atmosphere. During the event, the public will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the ancient practice of reading the Runes, in search of secret messages and precious insights. The Songs of Calliope
Second appointment on July 12 with “I canti di Calliope”, an exciting show that gives voice to the female protagonists of the Iliad: Helen, Clytemnestra, Iphigenia, Cassandra, Andromache, and Briseis, powerful and complex figures who fight for their survival in a world dominated by men. An engaging journey that, through the lives of these extraordinary women, explores the feminine side of the Trojan War. Not a simple historical narration, but an exploration into the depths of these women queens who try to carve out a space of freedom in a hostile world. An itinerant theatrical formula to deepen the knowledge of historical figures and their thoughts, discovering an unseen side of these often forgotten heroines. On stage Roberta Misticone, Livia Bertè, Giulia Toscano and Libera Tarallo. Choreography by Luisa Leone and make-up by Stefania Di Paolo. Morgana
The last event proposed by “La Chiave di Artemysia” is scheduled for August 30 with “Morgana”, a theatrical show that features the mysterious enchantress from the saga of King Arthur. With her charisma and magic, Morgana will lead the audience on an extraordinary journey, showing a new perspective of the Arthurian legend. The story is told by Morgana and her antagonist par excellence Viviana, the Lady of the Lake. Through a mix of intense dialogues, breathtaking choreography and evocative scenography, “Morgana” offers the audience an exciting and engaging journey into a fantastic and magical world, to discover one of the most intriguing and enigmatic figures of chivalric legends.
The medieval setting takes spectators directly to Camelot. The battles and priestly rituals are faithfully reproduced, helping to create an engaging and immersive experience.
