Campi Flegrei Earthquake, the weekend curse arrives on time and brings new earthquake tremors. This time strong enough to bring people back to the streets.
The seismographs oscillated 145 times during the night with two very strong events that were felt not only by the population of Campi Flegrei but also in many neighborhoods of Naples such as Bagnoli, Agnano, Fuorigrotta and Vomero, both accompanied by a loud roar.
The Vesuvius Observatory has catalogued the two strongest tremors in this way: Event at 4.09am of 8/06/2024, preliminary magnitude 3.7 +/- 0.3 depth 2,6 km and epicenter Agnano Via Antiniana

Citizens protest because tents have been removed from the seafront
The Civil Protection Department has launched an investigation, as has the Mayor of Pozzuoli, Gigi Manzoni, who issued a statement. But many residents are protesting on social media, specifically against the city administration, which is "guilty" of having the Civil Protection tents dismantled along the seafront.
But also of having abandoned the citizens "to their cynical and deceitful fate" because nothing of what was promised has been done and that is only being thought "to save the tourist season" now arrived with the heat and the summer.
