Earthquake at Campi Flegrei: tents set up in Pozzuoli removed. Volunteers dismantled the tents set up by the Municipality of Pozzuoli for bradyseism, located in Piazza a Mare, via Napoli, largo Palazzine, Toiano and via Vecchia San Gennaro.
Currently, the only operational hub is the Pala Troncone in Monterusciello. The Municipality has registered approximately 250 families displaced by bradyseism in Pozzuoli; 178 people (74 families) have refused temporary housing, while 133 people (50 families) have been temporarily housed in hotels designated by the Administration.
The removal of the tents was carried out by Civil Protection volunteers, who arrived in the Neapolitan town in recent weeks to support the population in the face of the intensification of the phenomenon of bradyseism.
Only the hub set up at Pala Troncone remains in operation
Currently, only the hub set up at the Pala Troncone, the Monterusciello sports hall, remains active, hosting around twenty people.
