This morning, the La Spezia Court acquitted twenty-five Spezia ultras and thirty-six Napoli ultras of all charges relating to the clashes that occurred on May 22, 2022, during and after the Spezia-Napoli match, played at the "Alberto Picco" stadium. Judge Carolina Gagliano ruled in the pre-trial phase that there was insufficient evidence to proceed with the charges collected and presented by the Public Prosecutor's Office.

The ultras from La Spezia, defended by lawyers Massimo Lombardi and Filippo Vergassola, and the Neapolitan fans had initially been investigated for crimes such as aggravated brawl, throwing dangerous objects, pitch invasion, disguise, violence and personal injury. However, the lack of concrete evidence also led to the revocation of the alternative procedures requested by the lawyers for the two fan groups.

- clashes of may 2022 had seen episodes of violence both inside and outside the stadium, culminating with the injury of several police officers. In the days following the match, the police had made several arrests in deferred flagrante delicto between La Spezia and Naples, and numerous Daspo had been issued.
