In Varcaturo, a hamlet of Giugliano in Campania, the Carabinieri of the mobile radio section arrested a 53-year-old man accused of mistreatment in the family and injuries.
Yesterday evening the Carabinieri intervened in a home following a report of a violent family fight.
The police found that a 53-year-old drunk man had attacked his 76-year-old mother, slapping and punching her, and then repeatedly hitting her on the head.
He was looking for money, as he had done other times, always with the same violent ways. And when his sister intervened to defend her mother the man, without stopping, started beating her too.
The two women, visibly frightened as well as injured, told the police that the man had been asking for money for about four years and if he didn't get it the outcome was always the same: violence.
The man had been beating his mother and sister for 4 years.
The 53-year-old was arrested and transferred to prison where he will have to answer to the judicial authorities for mistreatment of family and injuries.
