A 49-year-old man from Sant'Antimo was arrested by the Carabinieri for domestic violence, attempted extortion, and violation of a restraining order. The man, already arrested a month earlier for extortion against his parents, had returned to their home in violation of the restraining order and the restraining order not to approach the injured parties.
Yesterday afternoon, Carabinieri officers from the Sant'Antimo station responded to the request of an elderly couple, aged 80 and 77, who were suffering yet another assault by their son. The man, climbing up gas pipes, had climbed onto the terrace of the couple's home. Parents screaming and threatening to kill them to extort money.

Upon seeing the Carabinieri, the 49-year-old attempted to flee on foot, but after a brief chase, he was stopped and arrested. He is now in custody at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
