For the first time in the history of X Factor, the famous television musical talent show, Sky chooses a place for the grand final. The evening that will decree the winners of the 2024 season will land in NAPLES with the stage in Piazza del Plebiscito.
"We are very pleased to be able to announce the final of X Factor 2024 in Piazza del Plebiscito in NAPLES. For the first time in the international history of the format, the final will be outside a studio.
The work done over the past two years as part of the 'NAPLES City of Music' project makes us proud and confirms, once again with an event of national importance, the creation of favorable conditions for long-term musical planning.
NAPLES is a city in which music plays a fundamental role and our goal, as administrators, is to enhance and support the sector, its great potential and young talents", declared Gaetano Manfredi, mayor of NAPLES.
The December 5th finale of the Sky Original show produced by Fremantle (which will start with the new edition in September on Sky and streaming only on NOW) is part of the NAPLES City of Music project, designed for the cultural, economic and social relaunch of the city
The Municipality of Naples, co-organizer of the event, recognizes the centrality of the music sector for the community and aims to promote musical creativity as well as foster a climate of exchange, best practices, and coordination among institutions and industry professionals.
"The choice of the Piazza del Plebiscito setting," the mayor emphasized, "confirms not only the attractiveness and strength of our region, but also the City of Naples' commitment to identifying spaces dedicated to musical activities with a long-term program open to all artistic forms."
