A brutal crime took place last night in Pannarano, in the province of Benevento. A 57-year-old man, Benito Miarelli, killed his older brother, Annibale, 70, by cutting off his head and throwing it from the balcony of their home.
According to initial reconstructions by the Carabinieri, the two brothers, who lived together in Via Piano, had had an argument shortly before the crime for reasons yet to be ascertained.
Taking advantage of his older brother's sleep, Benito attacked him with a cutting weapon, killing him and beheading him.
