A 75 year old man Benevento he was subjected to a ban on approaching the injured party and the places frequented by her due to his persecutory conduct towards a young woman. The restrictive measure was issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Benevento at the end of the investigations of the Carabinieri, coordinated by the local Public Prosecutor's Office, led by Aldo Policastro.
It all started with the girl's complaint, which, with great concern, revealed that she had been "stalked by an unknown man for some time." The man, in a small car, had followed her on several occasions, including at night, leaving her home and on her way to work or to visit friends. The girl was also convinced that he had been the one who had punctured her tire.
Subsequent investigations by the Carabinieri confirmed the woman's accusations. By reviewing surveillance camera footage and analyzing phone records, the officers were able to identify the alleged stalker and reconstruct his movements, demonstrating that he was indeed present at the locations and times the woman claimed she had been stalked.
In light of this evidence, the investigating judge issued a restraining order, prohibiting the 75-year-old from approaching the girl or the places she frequented, under penalty of arrest.
