The Rome Public Prosecutor's Office has formalized a request to commit to trial the former president of Juventus, Andrea Agnelli, and some of the main executives of the black and white club. Among them are prominent names such as Pavel Nedved, Maurizio Arrivabene and Fabio Paratici. The charges against them are serious and include market manipulation, obstruction of supervision and false invoicing, in the context of the investigation into capital gains and wage manipulation.
The complex legal case has seen an important turning point with the decision of the Court of Cassation to declare the territorial incompetence of the Turin Prosecutor's Office. The Supreme Court has therefore ordered the transmission of the documents to Rome, where the file has been entrusted to the public prosecutors Lorenzo Del Giudice and Giorgio Orano, under the supervision of the deputy prosecutor Giuseppe Cascini.
Despite the charges already formalized, the investigation is still ongoing regarding the budget of the Juventus as of June 30, 2022. This aspect of the investigation continues to be explored by the Roman prosecutors, specialized in economic crimes, who are analyzing in detail the financial documents and operations of the club.
