The man, armed with a gun, struck mainly at Aversa, Villa Literno and Trentola Ducenta. The last episode, particularly violent, saw a young mother and her little son as the victim.
Thanks to the images from the surveillance cameras and the testimonies, the officers were able to identify and arrest him.
A shadow lurking, a serial robber, terrorized the women who, every day, went to the parking lot. Armed with a gun and his face hidden by a mask, the man struck with unprecedented violence, tearing necklaces, rings and cash from the trembling hands of his victims.
The latest episode, a robbery committed in Aversa, had left everyone shocked. A young mother, with her baby in her arms, had been attacked in the heart of the city.
The image of the terrified woman, while the robber snatched her few belongings, had made the rounds in the media, sparking public outrage and prompting law enforcement to intensify their search.
The investigations, conducted by the Caserta Flying Squad and the Aversa Police Station, proved to be complex and delicate.
Thanks to careful analysis of the images from the surveillance cameras and the testimonies collected, the investigators were able to reconstruct the robber's modus operandi and narrow the circle around the suspect.
