In Castellammare di Stabia, the new center-left mayor Luigi Vicinanza is increasing street surveillance: starting this weekend, local police officers will be on the streets until 2 a.m., and until midnight on Sundays.

This is one of the first decisions taken by the mayor as part of the reorganization of the city's security department, in consultation with the commander of the local police, Antonio Vecchione.

The decision was made following a series of requests for a permanent police presence along the Villa Comunale and in the busiest areas of the city, to ensure greater peace of mind for residents.

In particular, starting this weekend, a significant increase in the presence of the Municipal Police is planned. They will be on duty until 2:XNUMX a.m. every Friday and Saturday, and until midnight on Sundays.

This measure is part of a broader reorganization of urban security. Beach areas are among the most closely monitored. Municipal officers will monitor traffic in the area and conduct an operation to combat illegal parking.

"The safety of our citizens is an absolute priority. With these new provisions, we want to ensure that Castellammare di Stabia is a city where everyone can feel safe, both day and night. We will continue to work tirelessly to improve the quality of life in our community," explained Mayor Luigi Nearness.
