Deckchairs, sun loungers and umbrellas were confiscated along the stretch of beach on Via De Gasperi in Castellammare di Stabia and two residents of Castellammare with police records were fined 5 euros each.
This is the outcome of the joint operation of the Local Police, Carabinieri and the Port Authority of Castellammare di Stabia who, on the morning of Wednesday 3 July, intervened along the stretch of free beach. Specifically, in Traversa Cantiere Mercantile, inside a state-owned premises acquired by the municipal heritage, 88 aluminum sun loungers were found, left there by unknown persons and probably intended for rental by bathers.
