A 62-year-old man lost his life in a tragic road accident this morning in Contrada, in the province of Avellino.
The man, originally from Solofra, was riding a scooter when he was hit by a car along the Due Principati state road that connects Avellino to Salerno.
His ten-year-old granddaughter was also traveling in the vehicle with him, and she suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Santobono Hospital in Naples.
